This Miami Heat have officially moved on to the second round; the Heat beat the NewYork Knicks in game five.

It was the big plays from Heat Forward Chris Bosh that blazed Miami into the second round where they will face the Indiana Pacers.  Bosh finished this game with 19 points, 7 rebounds, and 1 steal. Ever since Bosh has had a child he’s become a whole new player. We have never seen this tenaciousness and explosiveness coming from him.

Dwyane Wade also finished with 19 points; showing us how great he really is. Wade hit back to back to back shots during the second quarter, and it seemed as if he couldn’t be stopped. Then, his defensive game became a major factor for New York as he recorded 2 blocks. Wade also finished the game with four rebounds. Expect him to keep fire as they continue into the second round.

Lebron James was the most productive player for the Heat yet again, bringing down rebounds, dishing 7 assist, swipping away 2 steals, swatting away a shot, and scoring 29 points. Yet somehow, despite the good efforts on defense by Lebron, Carmelo was able to score a remarkable 35 points. After the game Lebron stated that, ”We will savor this win tonight, and then we get to work tomorrow and get ready for Indiana.” He shows exactly how dedicated he is as his quest for a championship ring continues.

This game was a well fought game both offensively and defensively.  It was a critical game for Miami, if New York would have won, the series would have been 2-1, then, they would have to go back to New York where the Knicks could have forced a game seven, and inevitably pull off a come back win to move on; Something only a select few teams have been able to accomplish before. Finishing it off at home gives Miami time to rejuvenate and get ready for the Pacers in round 2.

Miami is truly showing that they have what it takes to win it all.
